Introduction

Thank you for using the MATCHSIM application. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the app, how it is used, and how it is protected.

MATCHSIM is a mobile app that lets users simulate soccer/football matches, leagues, and tournaments. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

Summary: MATCHSIM does not require an account for core features. The app may process limited data for advertising (AdMob), optional subscriptions (RevenueCat / Apple), and analytics. Card numbers are not stored on MATCHSIM servers.

Data Collected

Our application may collect or process the following categories of data:

Automatically collected / service data:

Device information (operating system version, device model)
App usage statistics (session duration, features used)
Error reports and crash logs
Advertising and measurement identifiers (depending on your permission; see ATT)
Subscription status and purchase validation data (RevenueCat / Apple)

Data MATCHSIM does not collect directly:

Name or identity information (no account required for core use)
Location data as an app feature
Credit card numbers — payments are handled by Apple; MATCHSIM servers do not store card numbers

Simulation results, tournament/league history, and preferences are largely stored locally on your device.

Analyzing usage patterns to develop features
Keeping fixture and config data up to date via Firebase Remote Config
Showing ads via Google AdMob
Managing optional MATCHSIM PRO subscriptions via RevenueCat and Apple

Advertising and App Tracking Transparency

MATCHSIM may show ads under its free-to-download model. Ads are served through Google AdMob.

On iOS we use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If you grant permission, ads may be personalized; if you decline, ads may be limited or non-personalized. You can change your preference in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions and Payments

Optional MATCHSIM PRO subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store. Subscription status is managed and validated with RevenueCat.

Payment is handled by Apple. MATCHSIM servers do not store credit card numbers. For billing and cancellation, use your Apple ID / App Store subscription settings.

Third-Party Services

MATCHSIM uses the following third-party services:

Firebase (Google LLC) — analytics, error reporting, and Remote Config. Firebase Privacy Policy
Google AdMob — advertising. Google Privacy Policy
RevenueCat — subscription management. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
Apple App Store — distribution and in-app purchases. Apple's privacy policy applies.

Data Security

Industry-standard measures are used to help protect your data. Where applicable, data transmission is encrypted over HTTPS.

In-app simulation history and preferences are stored locally on your device. Subscription validation and advertising use the infrastructure of the relevant third parties.

Children's Privacy

MATCHSIM is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 13, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Your Rights

Under applicable privacy laws (including state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the following rights:

Right of Access: Request access to data we hold about you.
Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data.
Right to Object: Object to certain processing.

To exercise these rights, contact us. We respond within 30 days. You can also manage ATT and ad preferences in your device settings.
